In this selfish and self-absorbed world, we only likely want to receive than give; we rarely give thinking we ourselves might run out with that something and ended up being pitiful. As Christians we know that God is our provider but when tested, really, how far, until what extent will we give?  Everything that we need is Him and in Him.

"One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. 25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered." (Proverbs 11:24-25)
