When The Devil Gets In
Deuteronomy 11:26-28
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
When the Devil Gets In
Through out the ages of time we hear that this person or that person who was once enlightened to the truths of God and a born again follower of Jesus Christ has slipped back into sin and has chosen to turn their back on God and His ways.
The trials of life and the deserts of darkness that we’re prone to walk through can be the most catastrophic test that measures the balance of our faith and our personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven.
The temptations of this world are so desirous and strong that the mightiest of men have proven themselves to be overcome by them and their disastrous results have condemned then to an eternal separation from God.
Compromise to sin is the norm for the modern day Christian. You’ll have to dig deep and search far and wide for a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
The message of repentance and the call to be holy as the Lord our God is holy is offensive and absurd to the modern day Christian.
Picking up our cross and actually following the Lord Jesus Christ has become legalistic and a hindrance to the modern day Christian.
Prayer and reading the Word of God has been replaced by so called Christian music by musicians and artists that have the same appearance and sounds that the secular musicians and artist of today’s world has.
The majority of the so called houses of God today are defiled temples that have invited the enemies of God into the church and have become modern day alters to age old pagan gods.
The modern day church has come full circle spiritually speaking and they are the modern day Adam and Eve’s picking the fruit from the tree that the Lord God said not to eat from.
When the Devil gets in the hearts and minds of the believer compromise is the solution for sin. Ignoring the truth is the solution for sin. Twisting Gods word is the solution for sin.
The Church today has run away from God. We are too entertained by our social media accounts and our modern day devices.
Facebook has become our gods. Snapchat has become our gods. Youtube has become our gods. Our methods and our ideals have become the new way to win the lost to Christ.
How in the world are we going to win anyone to the Lord Jesus Christ with these methods of man?
We won’t and we can’t!
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
It always has been and it will always be the Lord who will add to the Body of Jesus Christ! Not man and not his ways!
When the Devil gets in we become deaf and dumb. When we start listening to the Devil it’s over!
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
