When The Knocking Stops
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
If you listen closely you can here a knocking, a knocking on the door of your heart, a knocking on the door of your conscience. It’s the Lord Jesus Christ the Holy Ghost of God has come and He is calling you home to him.
Jeremiah 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
Jesus is knocking on the souls of mankind to offer us a resting place for eternity in Him. God loves us He created us. There is not a single person today that the Lord has not considered to be with Him forever in His kingdom.
Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
God knows who you are.
God knows what troubles you’re facing today.
He knows your future.
He is knocking right now and wanting to come into your life.
God can bring healing, peace, and stability that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
People of the world, and that is to say those who live according to the world’s standards, and those who stay in the so called safety barriers of being politically correct refuse to hear the truth.
They deny the very existence of God.
Think about it if there is a God then at some point whether in this life or in death there will be a time of settling up with the Creator, a time of reckoning, and of giving an account for our actions.
The knocking is for getting your attention. The knocking is to awake you out of your slumber.
Millions today are in a great slumber.
People are sleeping the sleep of death, and Jesus Christ is knocking on the door of your heart to wake you up.
We are truly living in the last days of time.
Take a look at the news headlines.
Take a look in your own backyard.
Wickedness has come in like a flood, and it will only get worse from here until the end.
1 Thessalonians 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
The only hope you have is Jesus Christ.
The only truth that stands today is the Word of God.
Soberness is not the remedy for society gone fallow today!
The once cultivated ground that was made by the Gospel has been covered with nettles and thorns.
Proverbs 6:10-11
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.
The Church has gone to sleep and the enemy has sewn tares among the wheat.
The cult of religion has caused a separation of the Body of Christ, and the sheep have been scattered by the modern day Pharisees.
Those who live by religious rules and man made interpretations of Gods Word have distorted the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Jesus said to love and many have lost their first love.
The true love is the love of Jesus Christ. Drunkenness and wickedness is the chosen remedy that buries the guilty conscience in a grave of delusion that will soon become awakened by a sobering reality faced with the judgments of God.
Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Many are holding idle and are swallowed up by the snares of sin.
The addictions of life have taken over the thought process of right and wrong.
The truth is despised and wisdom is denied.
The knocking is loud and cannot be ignored.
