This was quite an historical learning experience besides being an intriguing storyline. Loved the characters and learning what life was like in Africa in the late 1800's.

Outstanding my first audible Wilver Smith book although I've read many. Narration puts you right there in the bush. Takes nothing away from the joy of reading.
The best historical African fiction out there
Listening to this on trial. It's better than I expected.
Easy app to use.
Wilbur Smith is unbelievably talented. No books have drawn me in as much as his work.
His accounts of Africa are firsthand. He has lived there his entire life and is intimately familiar with the native people and their cultures.
If you've never read anything by him, give it a shot if you enjoy action and adventure.

From the highest highs to lowest lows, Sean lives a life to the fullest. I've yet to find a Wilbur Smith book that I can put down.
African saga, worth the read
I was captivated by this story of a white man's adventures in South Africa. The protagonists ability to overcome tragedy speaks to the triumph of a the human spirit. I look forward to the continuing adventures of this dynasty.
