Philippians 4:4-7
There’s a battle for our minds and hearts being waged every day. During this battle with the enemies of sin, Satan, and the anxieties and worries of this world, we need a battle cry. The apostle Paul supplies us with one in Philippians 4—”Rejoice in the Lord always!” Always might sound too good to be true but we have some promises from God to back it up. We know “the Lord is near” and we know the “peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” We have the joy of always knowing that our King is in the castle and the flag is flying at full mast! We have victory in Jesus, always and no matter what.
