Luke 1:39-55

Mary knew she needed a Savior. And so she magnified her Savior when she sang her song of joy known as the “Magnificat.” The Lord had lifted her up and blessed her beyond anything she could have expected—allowing her to be part of the plan of salvation that he had promised all along.

You and I are also lifted up by our Savior coming near to us at Christmas. He shatters our pride and helps us look to him instead of ourselves for the things we need most. Our hearts magnify the Lord for his great mercy.
