Prior to becoming who he is today Joe grew up in Texas and struggled with a toxic relationship with his bi-polar mother. Talking about his past, Joe tells us how he carries his scars and how his desire for peace drove him to take crazy actions. Joe has lost 3 veterans that he knows in the last few years to suicide.
