Creating a newsletter is a no-brainer for podcasters, but there are some caveats. First, the newsletter has to be a natural extension of what your podcast does. Second, it doesn't need to be a "newsletter", in fact you should think about it like a publication more than anything else, and also, you've got to have the time to commit to creating and managing your "newsletter."
