In 2011 two colossal icons of rock spent time jamming together.  Birthed from these sessions was Lulu: an album by Metallica and Lou Reed. Pitchfork called it 'especially repellent', NME called it 'baffling' and 'gruelling' yet David Bowie called it 'a masterpiece'.

At the core of this episode is a chat about the merits and necessity of artistic collaboration even when the result is divisive at best!

Collaboration is more important than just shifting units and gaining streams from a fresh fanbase.
