Aloha and welcome to the Sobriety Rocks Podcast, today we’re going to talk When We Sincerely Took Such a Position, All sorts of remarkable things followed.

― Lao Tzu (Cha) said, “When pure sincerity forms within, it is outwardly realized in other people's hearts.”

Nothing remarkable was happening in my life for months before I arrived at the rooms of recovery. 

Then he showed me a few of the remarkable things in the third step promises. We enjoyed peace of mind. We discovered we could face life successfully. We began to lose our fear of today, tomorrow and the hereafter. 

I wanted all that! Wouldn’t you know it, doing the actions sincerely, actually worked. I said all the prayers sincerely, I did the meditations sincerely, and I threw myself sincerely into service.

I kept going and not only didd the promises from the steps started happening for me, but the horrible guilt, shame, remorse, judgement, self-doubt, negative self-talk, and negative behaviors were nearly all gone, and my spirit had begun healing.

All these years later, by sincerely taking the actions outlined over and over, my spirit has healed. 

No matter where you’re at in your recovery, no matter what other people have done to you, or what you may have done to yourself, if you do the work sincerely, you too can recover, heal your spirit and have all the promises come true for you.
