The first digital-only bank in Pakistan, Telenor Microfinance Bank/Easypaisa, has 11 million MAUs and is supported by Telenor and Ant Group. Its transactional flow accounts for 4% of Pakistan's GDP.
Mudassar has contributed significantly to Pakistan's fintech sector. He previously held the position of CEO of FINCA Microfinance Bank, where he introduced Pakistan's first mobile wallet that runs on smartphones and digitalized the institution's microlending operations.
He has more than 24 years of experience in the financial services and fintech industries, 11 of them as a CEO. Mudassar possesses extensive knowledge of both digital lending and platform business strategy.
