Jesus was the Messiah, the Savior of the World, and the King of the Jews. In Matthew 4:8-11 Jesus is tempted to make this dream reality. Perhaps he was disappointed with his life plan and how it all turned out. Sometimes we are too. I explore Jesus' temptation in the desert with the view of how to handle disappointment.
