TEXT: Revelation 1:17-18
INTRO: John, the great revelator, is marooned on the Isle of Patmos, a desolate place reserved for the most hardened criminals of the time. He had no water, no food, no hope of survival. If ever anybody had a right to say, “God, where are You? I don’t deserve this,” it was John. After you have done everything you know to do, exhausted every resource—hold on. God will get to you. Our greatest need is for God to come to us. Nothing else matters if He just shows up.
