Six months ago, I was driving in my home town when I passed a large sign at a local supermarket. The sign said, “After you die, you will see God.” That’s it. That’s all the sign said. Clearly, the sign was created to make people think… and indeed, it got me thinking. We will all see God. But how we will see Him is up to us.
Will you be super excited to see God as a Father—full of mercy and grace? Or will you see God as a judge? The Bible says there is one way to Heaven and eternity with God, and that is only by receiving Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
This life is fragile, and someday, we will all see God. But we get to choose how we see Him. If you haven’t yet accepted Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Savior, why don’t you do it right now? Pray this prayer to God: “O God Almighty, I need You in my life. Forgive me my sins. Wash away my guilt. Make me Your child, and become my Father. In Jesus’ name, amen.” This is Luis Palau.
