We’re back on the albums again! Part Nineteen, 120-111.

This week features The Jimi Hendrix Experience, System of a Down, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and seven other artists to continue this massive undertaking. Hmm, who else could there be? ;)

I forgot to tell you which album the Lyric Title came from during the show! Whoops. By the time we got to that point, I was so enveloped in the stories of these songs and albums and artists that I wasn’t even thinking abut the title anymore lol

I won’t spoil the album reveal by telling you outright here, but I will say the artist is mentioned above, and the song that contains the lyric is mentioned during the episode as a part of a beloved trilogy.

(If that’s too ambiguous for you, you could also just Google the title and the song/album will most likely show up.)

Oh it’s a major endeavor, alright.

I’m going to try to listen to at least 10 albums a week for the rest of the year!

Yeah, I’m not joking.

Media, art, and entertainment publication Paste Magazine came out with a list of the 300 best albums and we’re going to go through them all! Well, I’m going to.

And then we’re going to talk about it! Great tracks, themes, history, info, related artists, cultural context, personal experiences- they’re all going to play a part in these reviews.

Totally stoked because I love music. (And a little intimidated! Because this is a lot to process)

If we keep up with an episode per week featuring 10 albums each, we’ll just about finish by the end of 2024.
