1. We must go forward as people entrusted to God, (“And now I commend you to God”) - (a) Remember what He has done , (b) Anticipate what He will do, (c) Trust that He will complete His work in us.

2. We must go forward as people entrusted to the word of His grace, (“And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace”) - (a) Stay focused on the kingdom, (b) Guard against lies of the world.

3. We must go forward as people entrusted to an eternal inheritance, (“And now I commend you to God and the word of His grace which is bale to build you up and give you the inheritance” among all those who are sanctified”) - (a) Our ultimate call while on earth: follow Jesus, (b) Our ultimate reward: with Him for eternity.
