Here in this fourth, can you believe it fourth season of Where Are You From? Heather Zinger and I, and countless others in Fargo-Moorhead and beyond begin to attempt to answer that question, “Where are you from?” while taking a closer look at the history of mental healthcare in our area!

Just how was it that individuals with what we do now consider or deem mental health or neurodivergent issues were treated with certain sanitariums or asylums or state run or operated hospitals and facilities, and what is the legacy of that treatment in our community and in our culture!
