Jenell Alward, along with her husband David, is the owner and head artist of Swish ‘n Flick Entertainment: an entertainment provider for face painting, balloon arrangements, balloon installations and more for every occasion. Jenell’s love for face painting sparked in her years in the theater department in high school, and she has taken this love and started a business that has grown exponentially over recent years.

After a big move from California to South Dakota in 2020, Jenell and her husband took the leap to renovate an RV and take their talents on the road to start a nonprofit: Smiles for Miles. Smiles for Miles is aimed at providing pro bono entertainment to help raise money for various causes and partnering with local businesses to create fun events that will bring more joy in a time when it is dearly needed.
