In this episode I describe my own background in Archaeology and offer some context for Archaeology in North America, specifically Canada. I explain a little bit about the colonial roots of the profession, and offer some insights into the ways the profession is attempting to move away from exclusively Euro-centric ideologies. I also explain in detail the process of completing Archaeological assessments (in Ontario).
