Today we’ll explore and feel the Adamson House in Malibu, followed by an interview with an American composer, violinist, violist, and pianist Maria Newman, commended and recognized by the U.S. Congress for her work in the field of original music composition and recording.

The youngest child of 9-time Academy Award-winning film composer Alfred Newman, Maria is the co-founder of the Malibu Coast Musical Soirées, a classical chamber music concert series hosted at the Montgomery Arts House for Music and Architecture (MAHMA) in Malibu, CA, where she holds the position of Composer-In-Residence.

MAHMA is a modern craftsman venue, designed specifically for the performance of classical music by architect Eric Lloyd Wright.
