Maybe it is because I recently had a friend die.  Perhaps it has something to do with my Mother in Law passing away last month.  I am sure Tom Petty's unexpected death last year might be playing a part.  Then again, it could be nothing more than the fact that I am 65 years old and aware that I have fewer years ahead than behind.  For whatever reasons, I have been thinking a lot about death so I thought I would just open the microphone and share some of the metaphysical musings that have recently moved into the neighborhood directly above my neck.
