Bred in the depths of Saltgrave and owned within the walls of Highreach, her beauty was crafted for captivity, not freedom. But when a single sliver of chance appears, she takes it.

Through water tunnels and into the wild, she flees east toward rumours of refuge — only to find her path cut short by the vastness of the Lake and the relentless echo of hunters behind her. With nowhere left to turn, she climbs into the Middle Mountains, where the Veil hangs thick and breath comes hard.

Wounded, hunted, and far from the world she was shaped for, Alenya forces herself upward into stone and shadow… until the mountain itself opens.
