Hossein Safi is a well-recognized and celebrated Cartoonist, Caricaturist, Graphist and Animation artist with more than 25 years of work experience and dozen prestigious awards and honors. Hossein was born in 1977 in Mashhad, Iran. He has got his bachelor’s in graphics and Masters in Animation from University of Fine Arts in Tehran, Iran. His cartoons and caricatures have been published over 2 decades in most of major newspapers and news outlets in Iran. After more than twenty years of working and teaching; almost 2 years ago, Hossein decided to immigrate to US due to extreme pressure, censor imposed to journalists and cartoonist in Iran.
