We examine the four prominent answers throughout church history to the questions of -where is the presence of Christ during communion-- - -what actually happens during the Lord's Supper--. We hope to correct what is likely the majority evangelical view -'memorialism'-, and explain the glorious reality of the corporate miracle that takes place when a faithful church partakes of the Lord's Supper -'spiritual presence'-. Then 3 practical communion applications are explained, given the Biblical answer to the questions.
