GOD DOESN’T EXIST TO SERVE US. WE EXIST TO SERVE HIM.
3 THINGS WE KNOW ABOUT GOD?
GOD’S HEART IS ALWAYS LOVING.
Romans 8:35, 37-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?... 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
GOD’S WAYS ARE ALWAYS HIGHER.
Isaiah 55:8-9“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Romans 5:3-4…but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
GOD’S PRESENCE IS ALWAYS ENOUGH.
Exodus 33:14 “And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 1 John 4:16 “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
