Unfortunately nearly 80% of Black women, and up to 70 % of white women suffer from fibroids yet, there is no cure.  On this episode April describes her first few years with the growing tumors that eventually led to having a myomectomy surgery to remove *most* of the fibroids. She also dives into the possibility of having children in the future and how to recognize iron deficiency symptoms that can cause serious complications.
