Tracie Bell, a 54-year-old Cook County State Attorney's Office employee, was last seen at her condo in Richton Park, Illinois, on March 6, 2018. On that day, police conducted a welfare check after she missed work, a behavior described as uncharacteristic for her. When officers arrived, they found Tracie at home, appearing disoriented, but otherwise cooperative. Paramedics were called to check her vitals, including her blood sugar, as she was diabetic. Tracie was also suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and had recently recovered from pneumonia. Despite seeming in a "right frame of mind," this was the last confirmed sighting of her.The following day, another welfare check was conducted when she again failed to show up for work, but this time, Tracie was nowhere to be found. Her car was still parked outside her home, and her phone, which was missing, showed no activity. Investigators found no signs of foul play, though Tracie's disappearance remains unsolved and classified as a missing persons case. Family members noted she always kept a set of stackable silver rings with semiprecious stones, which have not been located since she went missing.
