WHY don’t we have joy?

a. We seek Worldly things (1:1, cf.2:1-3)

b. We Fear God’s law/judgement (1:4-6, cf. 2:4-5)

HOW do we find joy?

a. Savour His Word (1:2)

but whose DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord, and who MEDITATES on his law day and night.
