Had me from the beginning.. Excellent read

This book not only gave me goosebumps.. BUT did it twice! I loved how the characters stories intertwined. We have two sets of friends and roommates who are going through this journey we call life. Matt and Gavin, and Ella with Sarah. Each of the characters have been searching for something that is missing in their lives. With a lot of almost run in encounters we find that sometimes things are meant to happen when they do for a reason. I thought it was great how this story played out and there were some interesting twists and turns mixed with some sad stuff and I could not wait to find out how this story played out. I really loved the way it did. Just when you think you know what is going to happen.. one simple detail changes it all... Wonderful read, and I hope to read more like this!!

If you like me hate the new trend towards serial books, don't worry because this one does end. There is to be a sequel and I'd like to read it but there is no cliffhanger here.

The book is told from two points of view. The h is a girl who caught a glimpse of 'The One' 10 years prior to this story and has saved herself for him ever since.

The other alternating POV is that of Matt and his relationships and what he is doing with his life.

The story does drag a little with the search and near misses that the H and h have.

The thing that saved this book from just being a 3 was the twist. I didn't see it coming and I was truly glad it did. I'm not often surprised by stories and this was very pleasant.

If you're a hopeless romantic like me, please give this book a try. ;)

I believe love really finds you, not the other way around. I think that sometimes, some people looking for love doesn't end up really falling in love with the person but only on the idea of being in love. I'm also a big fan of "waiting for the right time", and I believe that when that time comes, you will know.
