In Alien: Earth, set in the twenty-second century, five corporations dominate every facet of human existence in a cybercapitalist nightmare that makes 2025 seem like a hippie paradise. Weyland-Yutani is undoubtedly one of those companies, and Prodigy is another. Prodigy is led by Boy Kavalier (Samuel Blenkin), a trillionaire robotics genius who embodies every real-life billionaire sociopath in a barely post-pubescent package. The obnoxious villain, who is satirically sketched, is someone viewers will want to see dismantled within ten minutes of encountering him.
