"Where you start is not where you end" is not just a nice thing to say but is a life principle.
Your ending as an author is going to be very different to your start.
And understanding this very important principle is so key because a lot of the time, we
tend to judge our journey based on the start. But we don't know much in the beginning
so just because we have no followers in the beginning doesn't mean we suck as writers.
There is so much to learn as you start and it's okay to be okay with where you are.
It's going to be very important to not make any rash conclusions about the type of author
and success you are going to make based on your beginning because remember,
Where you start is not where you will end.
There are a lot of successes lined up for you. Lots of lessons to be learned, and huge growth to happen.
So pace yourself. Don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself.
Your author journey is going to be very different next year than it is right now and that's exciting
unless of course, you become lazy, procrastinate, don't take your writing seriously and just sit around doing nothing.
So it's time to change your mind and the way you see where you are now.
Where you start is not where you end.
