At the beginning of the project I had the inspiration to create themed songs which was reflected in the early song titles, “Forest Level” for this song in particular since it had such a magical and exciting charm it. The title changed when I decided to tell a story with the music, and if you don’t get the pun you might want to get out more often. I really wanted to capture that innocence of youth, when everything seemed so exciting, vibrant and carefree. This track is my personal favorite song on the whole album, it remains mostly intact from it's Demo Days. The primary difference is an added bass guitar that I included at the last minute. This song came about pretty early on during the song initial creation phase, I believe it was the 2nd or 3rd song born. At that time I did not have access to any of my instruments as I was out of town, but I decided to challenge myself to create songs using only chopped up loops, programmed drums and random note generators. For this track I was primarily influenced by games such as Secret of Mana and Rayman, the former I used to play with my sister Mia and the latter with my daughter Mia, these are among my most cherished memories.
