To finish off our theme on Sidney Poitier, we watched the film To Sir, with Love from 1967, where Poitier plays a teacher at a London East End school. 1967 was a big year for Poitier, with the additional releases of In the Heat of the Night and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

Sidney Poitier died at the age of 94 on January 6th and was one of the most respected and admired actors and directors of the 20th century. In today's episode we will be talking about one of his most famous films, in which he won the Best Actor Oscar for in 1964 for Lilies of the Field.

We watched Greta Gerwig's Little Women, starring Saorise Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Laura Dern, and share our thoughts on the classic tale, beloved by each generation. Although there are many different film adaptations of this book, in this episode we will be focusing on Gerwig's version.
