In life, we all sit back and calculate everything for the possibility of a certain outcome. But when one comes to Christ, Christ tells His followers to hate their lives and surrender all their possessions. For those who plan for their own lives cannot be salt in the world; they are instead useless salt, only good to be trampled underfoot.
