Break free from the BS

Which voices are you giving power to?

Listen Later

Why is it that we can receive ten compliments and one criticism, yet the criticism is the thing that stays with us? Why are we so quick to absorb the negative opinions, harsh judgements, and limiting labels that come our way, while dismissing the positive things people say about us? In this episode, we explore where this conditioning comes from, how it develops over time, and the impact it has on the way we see ourselves and move through the world.

We dive into the stories we have inherited from family, society, education, and past experiences, and how many of us are still carrying voices that were never truly ours to begin with. More importantly, we look at how to start breaking free from them. How to question the narratives that no longer serve you, strengthen your own inner voice, and become more intentional about whose opinions you allow into your life.

This episode also explores why feedback is one of the greatest gifts we can receive, but only when it comes from people who genuinely care about us, want the best for us, and have earned the right to be heard. Not every opinion deserves a seat at your table. Learning the difference can change everything.

If you have ever found yourself weighed down by criticism, seeking approval from the wrong people, or struggling to believe the good things others see in you, this episode will help you reclaim your own voice and choose more carefully whose voices matter.
