The Atlanta Falcons (4-4) are set to play the Minnesota Vikings (4-4) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Jaren Hall, a rookie fifth-round pick from Brigham Young, will get the start at quarterback for the Vikings. Hall will be making his first start in the NFL while the Falcons will likely counter with Taylor Heinicke as then need to score points and take care of the football. Minnesota defensive coordinator Brian Flores will try to confuse opposing quarterbacks with his elaborate packages.

Falcons GM Terry Fontenot set for his fourth NFL draft

Over 14 seasons with the Falcons, Matt Ryan completed 5,242 of 8,003 pass attempts for 59,735 yards and 367 touchdowns — all franchise records. He also holds franchise records for career passer rating (94.2), career completion percentage (65.5) and career 300-yard passing games (73). He signed a one-day contract with Falcons on Tuesday and officially retired from the NFL.
