We're all familiar with the stigma associated with salespeople. Some of the words that come to mind tend to be things like: sleezy, slimy, snake, swindler, and anything else that starts with an "s". But why is this the case? How did a profession, that was originally meant to help people, become associated with such negative connotations?

In this episode, I provide the backstory to the sales profession, explain how the stigma came to exist, and share my intent to change it. I also provide tips for dealing with salespeople when you're a customer.
