How much of our life consists of us dealing with the present, while still living out the past?  How many relationships are ruined each day because of things that happened days, or years ago, and don’t even involve the ones at which we puff and blow?  It’s especially true for emergency workers, but it’s no excuse.  All the more reason to recognize it, and make the change.
