Sorrow to joy
Eve was a very young widow who had given up on life and love. And then she met AJ. He was younger but seems older in some of his lifeâs observations. She was drawn to him but they faced an uphill battle. Hidden secrets threatened to destroy their relationship, but God made a way. Good book.
Being a widow is so hard but when you feel you have to be strong for everyone else you can't try to live again.
Eve had the best life she knew until Dustin died. Then she was just existing. Her friends set her up with Dante but she just felt embarrassed by his attention. Then A.J. and Eve became friends. Neither one was looking for a relationship. And that is how it works sometimes.
Wonderful
This is wonderful 2nd story in this series. Eve is still dealing with the loss of Dylan, but Lisa & Jeff are trying to help. Dante is getting to pushy. But AJ is being a great friend. But there is a spark there. Is she ready.
Not easy to put down.
This book was an excellent read. It held all aspects of life in an ever moving way. You knew it should all work in the end but it was so real you could feel wjere it "could" tear apart. Princess Bride story well done!
A beautiful love story.
Liked the story because it was about firemen. A very real story about real people. Liked the way the author took the main characters down different paths before they were brought together.
