The headlines read, "Kanye West can no longer sell his "White Lives Matter" shirts because "two black-men" already own the trademark." A controversial headline to make you click...but it's not accurate.
Civic Cipher, comprised of Ramses Ja and Quinton Ward, has a pending trademark app for the slogan "White Lives Matter." But without a registered trademark certificate Civic Cipher can't stop Ye from selling “White Lives Matter shirts and based on the common usage of the slogan, the Civic Cipher application may be refused by the USPTO.
