A White Picket Fence kind of family is always a moving target. We think we’re about there and then the wheels fall off. We may never be completely perfect – our children probably won’t be either. We finally get the right job and then face cutbacks at work – so goes the saga. But though we fall short of the optimum, there’s never a time when we give up and stop reaching forward. Thankfully, God never gives up on us either, so we keep pushing forward in faith to be the kind of family God dreams of us becoming!
