Whitney Linscott spent 10 years in commercial banking and finance before venturing out to launch her own dating app. She has struggled with the dating apps on the market and wanted to improve the experience by making it fun and effective. In 2016 she quit her corporate job to launch the tournament style dating app, Bracket Dating.
