Paul says in Verse 19 that believers are citizens of heaven. (See also Philippians 3:20.) What does this mean? What are the implications of this for the believer (i.e., which citizenship controls the believer)? What does it mean practically that the believer is a citizen of heaven? (See Luke 22:37-39 and 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.) 3. Read Ephesians 2:19. Paul also tells us in Verse 19 that the believer is part of God’s household or family. What does this mean to you? (Read Matthew 12:46-50.) What does this mean practically? (See 1 John 3:14-19.) 4. Read Ephesians 2:20-22. Paul also identifies the believer as a part of God’s temple. What does this mean? (Read also 1 Peter 2:4-5.) 5. Read Ecclesiastes 1:2-11. Who is the non-believer? Who are you?
