Our first episode without Rick felt more like a season premiere than a regular mid-season episode! We have a six year time jump and our groups have evolved, as have some of the hairstyles (ahem, Carol). And little Judith is all grown up and showing some grit, I might add! She would have made her daddy...er, Rick...proud. But the icing on this proverbial cake is the introduction of a new group of scary as hell walkers. So its heated at Alexandira about keeping Lydia around and even the worth of Negan at this point. Tempers are flaring brought on by the constant fight with waves of walkers continued from last wee. Where are they coming from? Seems pretty obvious, but Judith is teed up to nail it down. Some great character development and shifts in this episode. Lukes group loses a member, namely Luke. Lydia serves up squirrel.
