God is urging each and every believer to live their lives based on Proverbs 3:5. Many of us tend to lean on our own understanding more than we lean on God because we often feel like God is not moving when we want him to move. However, God urges us not to lean on our own understanding. Trust him and submit to his will, and he will make our paths straight. As humans, this can sometimes be challenging, but it is the best decision for our lives, and it will help us avoid the pitfalls in life.
Scripture Referenced
Proverbs 3:5
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
