Jesus is God.

Now you can't find a verse where Jesus says it that clear or that plain.

But he did make the claim.

And those who heard him knew exactly what he was saying.

For example, he told the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven."

I know, that doesn't sound like a claim to be God at all.

But it was loud and clear.

The religious leaders caught it.

As Mark recorded, they thought

"Why does this man speak like that. He is blaspheming.

Who can forgive sins but God alone."

Well Jesus knew what to say to make his point clear.

He is God, which means

when he says to you your sins are forgiven

You can know it's true.
