As the seals of judgment are opened in the previous chapters, this section of the Revelation begs the question: Who can stand? Who will be able to survive the comprehensive tribulation that falls upon the earth? The answer is found in a strange community of worshippers who have assembled in blood-drenched robes around the throne of the Lamb. It is only those who have been sealed by the Holy Spirit who will stand to the end!
