The story of Jesus cleansing the temple is pretty well known. It is hard to get the imagery out of our minds of Jesus flipping tables and scattering both man and animals from the temple on the most important feast and celebration in Jewish culture. Harder still might be that this act was not out of a fit of rage but was a premeditated action. That Jesus was continuing the revelation of who he was and, ultimately, who God is in this act at the temple.
