Welcome back to The smasher system podcast. I’m your host, Nino Prodan. This week, we’re talking about how to pivot, how to switch up what you’re doing during these changing times. Because when things change, you have to adjust. When I was switching over, from working a nine to five, and to coaching, I was really excited. I thought about how I was going to help people get better focus and get more energy in their lives, how I was going to help them gain better insight into what their body was doing and how they were gonna make their lives better. Because they were more present in the moment. And this was really great and all but if you think about my description just now, what was I going to get people? If you think back to what I just said, there’s really no clear goal. There was no clear result that I was offering people to get Once I found the people, or found what I could help people with, I needed to understand how I could help them with what they wanted. I needed to gain greater clarity into what I could offer people that they wanted, because I saw value and clarity because I had gone through all the exercises and everything else. But I didn’t look at what got me there. What was my initial desire? And it was a struggle for me at the beginning because nobody told me that I had to go back to where I started, who I was, when I first began my journey toward becoming a coach was I initially looking for that led me down this path, and that’s where I had to connect with people. But it took years for me to figure that out. Because sometimes, when you’re that far down the road it’s really hard to remember where you started. Where did you turn down this road? That would lead you to where you are today. What interested you in the first place? What was that first tiny step, that first tiny goal that you wanted, that led to the direction you’ve taken today, to the place that you are now? Where did you diverge from the regular path. That’s where you want to talk to people. Figure out which goal you were seeking then, and help people achieve that goal. If you want to help people with high level higher level stuff, then think about the person you’re talking to, and what goal they’re trying to achieve. You don’t have to be too far ahead. You don’t have to look too far back. But you have to place yourself in the shoes that you were in, before you achieved, what you’re going to teach and talk to that person. Because if you aren’t clear on what you’re offering, it’ll make the journey harder and you’ll start building in the wrong direction. So figure out what you’re doing first, and then build around it. Once you know exactly who you’re talking to, you’ll be able to understand how you’re going to talk to somebody, because we don’t talk to everybody the same way. Think about it. When you’re with family, you talk to them differently. When you’re with your co workers, you talk to people differently. And even in the office, when you’re talking to people that you’re close with. You talk to them one way, but when you’re talking to your boss or somebody higher up, you talk to them differently or somebody in a different department at work, you talk to them differently because you’re not as close you don’t have the same relationship. You don’t have the same goals. You don’t have the same perspective. So don’t think about being in genuine or something like that. Think about talking to somebody from a place of empathizing with their perspective on life. You Want to talk to people, as a friend you’re trying to help out. Or maybe you as a mentor, guiding someone on their path. You know, when you’re communicating, you don’t have to be salesy. You just have to understand a person’s perspective and a personR
