This week, Pastor Luke shared that when you try to run your race in

someone else’s lane, you get disqualified. If we want to start running

in our own lane and keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, rather

comparing ourselves to those around us, we need to remember:

1. Comparison will rob you of everything God has for you. Just as

Saul took his eyes off Jesus to focus on David, comparison will take

your eyes off Jesus and His calling for you.

2. The fastest way to break the chains of comparison is to know who

you are in Jesus and to know the race marked out for you. We are

called to be ambassadors for Jesus in every area of our lives.

3. You are not who comparison says you are; you are who God says

you are. Not only does God call you unique, but He calls you a

masterpiece.
